Terms of use

Short, because the service is. Last updated 15 September 2026.

What FindMyRunner is

A tool for a runner to share a planned route and live position with people she invites, and for those people to sign up for spots and be told when she is close. It is a convenience, not a safety service: it must not be relied on in an emergency. Location updates can be late or missing when the phone has no signal or no battery, and estimated times are estimates.

Your account

Hosts and runners

Hosts build events and invite people. The runner is whoever the event names and who accepts; only that account can start the run. Hosts can message everyone signed up; that is for the run, not for anything else.

Subscription

Following, signing up and cheering are free. Runners can host events with up to 10 signups free; larger events need the runner's subscription, sold through the App Store under Apple's terms. Cancel any time in your Apple account settings.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, its operator is not liable for missed meetups, wrong estimates, lost data or anything that follows from using or being unable to use it.

Changes

These terms and the privacy page may change; the date at the top says when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
